In the Gold Museum in Bogotá and in the regional branches you can take touristic pictures and videos, for personal noncommercial use and for free, without using tripods, lights or flashes. As the flashes specifically deteriorate the archaeological objects, they are restricted. You may publish low resolution images and videos in web 2 sites as YouTube, Vimeo, Flickr. Food and drink are not allowed in the Museum's galleries, enjoy them at the Restaurant and the Cafe.

The museum is accessible to wheelchair users and other visitors who need to avoid stairs. Accessible entrance door is on 16th Street, wich has a ramp (groups entrance).

The two elevators will take you to all the floors.  The elevator next to the entrance for groups doesn’t stop on floor -1 (Auditorium, San Alberto Café, lower floor of the Gift Shop) and the elevator behind this one doesn’t stop on floor -2 (Temporary Exhibits Room) or on floor 4 (Exploratorium). In each case, the other elevator must be used.

You will find rest rooms which are accessible to wheel chairs, on the first floor in front of the Information Desk.
