The contemporary Museum can be viewed from many angles. The exhibitions are thus always new, always surprising, inexhaustible.

School Visits

Animations are interactive encounters between schoolchildren and the exhibitions on a particular subject. The aim is to get youngsters to take an active part in their visit, motivated and guided by a leader from the Museum and their teacher. The leader does not teach: he or she helps the children discover, encourages them to learn.

Sorry, Animations are in Spanish. If your school would like to have an English tour of our exhibitions, please refer to Special Group Visits.

Special Group Visits

Companies and organisations can arrange special group visits in English, Spanish, French, German, and Italian.

A well-trained guide will be waiting for your party at the door, for an exclusive tour of the Museum lasting as long as the particular group wants (from fifteen minutes to two hours).

You can request this personalised service by e-mail. Please state entity name and tax identification number, together with the date and time of the visit, number of people, the language required, and a contact telephone and fax number.

We offer free guided tours in English, for sight impaired people and their relatives, provided they are booked in advance. The guide will make an animation in front of a small number of showcases for a full understanding of the content of the Museum.  Also it is possible to touch replicas and original archaeological fragments. A multisensory and memorable experience to have close contact with the pre-Hispanic world, and a nice outing to share with relatives. For groups of hearing impaired people, we offer free guided visits exclusively in Colombian sign language, provided they are booked in advance.  All the members in the group must understand sign language since this visit is not bilingual.
