You can access the Gold Museum from the Santander Park.  The stairs or the two elevators will take you up to two floors with permanent exhibitions and the Exploratorium, and down to the temporary exhibits.

Information Desk

At the Desk on the first floor, our room coordinators and animators will answer all your questions on the Museum and its surroundings.  They can lend you a stroller or a wheel chair, and they will offer you a pamphlet or a post card as a memento of your visit, and an invitation for you to return.

 

The Gold Museum’s Gift Shop

In the gift shop you can find jewellery that is a replica of some pieces selected from the collection at the Museum, and good quality Colombian handicraft; undoubtedly a lovely gift for your friends. There are also some nice mementos of your visit like pencils and erasers, and book marks with pre-Columbian designs; books and booklets on Colombian pre-Columbian goldsmith and silversmith articles, illustrated books and luxury books on different topics related to Colombia.  Especially ask for the Gold Museum Guide, a pocket book with extremely interesting information on each of the themes in the permanent exhibit in the Museum in Bogotá.

Café - Restaurant

The Gold Museum's Café - Restaurant is a pleasant place to relax after your visit, or alternatively it offers you the chance to combine the Museum experience with a lunch or dinner in a very special environment. Open Tuesday to Sunday, same opening times as the Museum.

Café San Alberto

On floor -1, the San Alberto coffee bar offers a place to enjoy a cappuccino or a fragrant espresso, taste tree different Colombian coffees, have a chat and be a part of the Museum´s activity. Wifi zone. Open from Tuesday to Sunday during Museum hours.

 

Lockers

On the first floor, besides the Information Desk, you will find lockers to store bags, purses, small backpacks (maximum 42 x 33 x 36 cm) for free.  You need a COL$200 or COL$500 coin which will be returned once you remove the articles with the key.  Don’t give the key to anybody!
